Grass - A Haiku

Carpet laid, Mother!
Lush, soft, beautiful it is
Bare feet, feel beneath

This post is shared with Haiku Heights and the prompt is GRASS.
P.S. - This is my first attempt at creating a Haiku.

  9. its an eco haiku, jyotsna. its the human steps on the carpet that spoils it. as an architect i would say that the concrete jungle spoils the carpet. may be your next haiku could be concrete jungle... while u write sitting within the jungle of files in your office.

    1. Yes, Niravbhai, agree with you.. concrete jungle in a way spoils beautiful natural carpet.. And as for the jungle of files in my office, now since you have given me the wonderful idea, I think I should be writing about it soon.. By the way, haven't seen you around in some time.. Do visit that jungle of files for some chai :)
