Shadows - The Oddquain

how
and why do
shadows of past ghosts
follow though we have dissolved
ages
ago in murky waters
of flaring egos
our ashes
rot

Oddquain Butterfly – a nine-line stanza with 1-3-5-7-1-7-5-3-1 syllables
