He:
|
Why don’t you give
up on people?
|
She:
|
May
be because I know what it is to be left behind
|
He:
|
So,
you don’t give up on people because you are worried about them?
|
She:
|
No.
Because I am also worried about myself
|
He:
|
Explain that now
|
She:
|
I
know how it feels to be all alone and vulnerable and broken when you need
just one person to stand by you, understand you or sometimes even just listen
to you. I know how it shatters you enough
to never be healed again fully and not be able to go back to your naïve self when you loved with
your whole being.
|
He:
|
Does it mean that you
don’t give up on people even if they don’t deserve to be held on to?
|
She:
|
I
just know that nobody deserves to be left alone when they need you. I will
never forget or forgive that person who gifted me this brokenness. All I wish
is not to become such a person for anybody else.

That is such a beautiful thought, Jyotsna *I just know that nobody deserves to be left alone when they need you. So very true.

ReplyDelete:) Thank you
DeleteThis is so beautiful. I left my house this morning seriously considering ending my relationship. Everything seems so hard right now and I'm tired of the petty battles. Your post gave me the push I need not to give up. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow.. I never knew this could help somebody. Glad that this post was helpful. Welcome to my blog. Hope to have you around :)
DeleteLove the message. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you dear :)
DeleteThis was thoughtful. Even I too follow this in my life but not for long. A healer has limited powers, patience and at some degree high vulnerability. Sometimes as somebody who empathises with brokenness needs to heal herself. I once wrote about it in one of my posts titled, "Agony Aunts Agonies". I, anyway, loved your thoughts... :) Good luck with rest of the letters :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes.. agree to you that a healer needs to get healed too sometimes. Thanks for visiting Shesha :)
DeleteYa...nobody deserves to be left alone. I love the positivity in your posts :)
ReplyDeleteYup, they don't. Thank you Sushree :)
